Virginia Anglers Battle the Waves and Land a 27-Inch Walleye Casting Crawler Harnesses
Lake Erie - Lake, OH
The wind and waves were kicking today on Lake Erie, but our crew from Virginia didn't let the rough conditions slow them down. They put on an absolute clinic, casting right through the heavy chop and making the most of a wild day on the water.
The highlight of the trip goes to Cassie, who landed a beautiful 27-inch walleye while casting a 1oz crawler harness straight into the wind.
When we weren't casting, dragging bottom bouncers with heavy 5oz weights kept the lines down and produced consistent action. The sheephead were also out in full force today, adding plenty of extra fights and keeping everyone on their toes.
It was an awesome day of battling the elements and putting fish in the boat. Now, this crew is off to Put-in-Bay (PIB) to finish up their vacation true Lake Erie style!
